More people search for businesses online than anywhere else, so it’s important to make sure yours is easily found on Google. A search engine appearance is one thing; a Google Places local search result is an entirely different SEM best practice – and trust us, the conversion potential is worth your (minimal) effort.

If you’re in Yellow Pages, chances are your business already appears in Google Places. Make sure your listing is complete. If it isn’t, create a Google account and fill in the missing information. That’ll get you in the rankings … and alongside your competitors
